Starface and Ashley Williams first worked together during Spring/Summer ’26 London Fashion Week, where models walked down the runway with Tiny Star patches. The partnership made sense for both brands, who share an approach to self-expression that’s playful and unapologetic. 

“I’ve always loved how Starface finds joy in the things we’re usually told to cover up,” Williams shares with VALŪS. “Hydro-Stars were a key part of our Spring 2026 runway, so creating these products together felt like a natural extension of that moment. We centered the collaboration around our playful ‘I <3 ME’ design to bring a little humor and fun into the everyday.”

The collection features two Starface products with Ashley Williams’ ‘I <3 ME’ design: the big heart compact ($18.99), which holds 32 limited edition Hydra-Star pimple patches, and I Heart Strawberry Balm ($7.99), a cushiony lip balm with a strawberry flavor. The 90’s girlhood nostalgia of this campaign was captured by photographer Letty Schmiterlow.

This is the first time Star Balm has been part of a fashion collaboration. “Hydro-Stars are just as much for personal style as they are for spots, so we jumped at the idea of turning Ashley Williams’ iconic 'I <3 ME' motif into a patch!” Starface founder Julie Schott told VALŪS. “It was a dream to partner with a designer as playful and irreverent as Ashley and create something that really represents both of our worlds.”
